Washington, DC – Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06) issued the following statement following the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) announcement that the sensitive information of 21.5 million Americans has been stolen:

“As the scope and magnitude of the data breach at OPM continues to grow, the effect on our national security is beyond alarming. Who will be held accountable for this disaster and the irrevocable damage that has been caused? It is completely unacceptable that OPM Director Katherine Archuleta failed to correct serious and known lapses in OPM–s cybersecurity. Director Archuleta should be removed immediately.”?
