St. Augustine, FL – In light of concerns raised by St. Johns County officials, Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06) sent a letter today to the Comptroller General of the Government Accountability Office (GAO) asking his department to ensure  that the veteran population data that the Department of Veterans Affairs is using to determine a permanent Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) location is accurate.

“Ensuring that the more than 5,000 veterans that rely upon the St. Augustine facility receive timely and convenient care is one of my top priorities,”? DeSantis said. “It is critical that this project be completed within a reasonable time frame and use the most accurate information on the veteran population that this facility serves.”?
